New Member Application

Both individuals and legal entities can become members of the Czech Association for Legal and Social Philosophy (also referred to as “the Association”). We welcome members from all academic fields, faculties, and professions. Association members shall participate in scientific symposia, member meetings, and informal gatherings. They also make decisions on all fundamental matters concerning the existence and operation of the Association, as well as its relationship to the International Association for Legal and Social Philosophy (IVR) and the national IVR sections.

Members of the Czech Association for Legal and Social Philosophy, automatically become members of the International Association for Legal and Social Philosophy (“Internationale Vereinigung für Rechts- und Sozialphilosophie” or “IVR”), in accordance with § 3, paragraph 1 of the IVR’s constitution.

To become a member, please fill out the application form below and click the ‘Submit’ button. The application will be sent to the Association’s secretary, Dr. Katarzyna Žák Krzyžanková. You can also send your application in printed form to the Association’s address.

Declaration:

By submitting this application, I am applying for membership in the Czech Association for Legal and Social Philosophy, with its registered office at Curieových Square 901/7, Old Town, 110 00 Prague 1, ID No: 750 88 631, registered in the association register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague, section L, insert 3342. I acknowledge that as a member of the Association, I have an obligation to duly pay a membership fee. The amount, method of payment, and due date of the fee are determined by the general assembly’s decision. The membership fee is to be paid to the Association's bank account no. 249 165 409/0600 (Moneta Money Bank). The membership fee is due by January 31st of the calendar year to which the fee corresponds If the application is submitted after this date, the member of the Association is obliged to pay the membership fee no later than 14 days from the date of submission of the membership application. Other rights and obligations related to membership are specified by the statutes of the Association.
